Dennis & Sandi Tucker
Executive Pastors
Dennis and Sandi Tucker are the senior and founding Pastors of Word of Life. They were married in 1979. They have three sons that are all serving in their local churches. They are also the proud grandparents to eight grandchildren. Dennis and Sandi have been pastoring for nearly 30 years. Their focus is preaching the uncompromised Word of God in order to help God's people renew their minds to be conformed to the image of Christ. A large part of their calling is to raise up ministries, which is why the Ministers In Training (MIT) program is so important to them. Both of them are active in teaching the MIT program.
Ron & Kathy Rusten
Church Administrator & Helps Directors
Ron and Kathy lead the Helps Ministry at Word of Life. They have been married for 15 years and have seven children and nine grandchildren between them. Ron retired from the U.S. Forest Service where he worked for 37 years as a firefighter and most of Kathy's career was as the Executive Secretary for a large cement company. They both love helping those in need and showing them how Jesus Christ and His Word is the answer to turning their lives around.

Jan & Patti Majewski
Seniors' Pastors
Jan and Patti have been married for 27 years. They have six children, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren between them.
Jan was first Ordained in 1984 and has served our Lord in various capacities. Patti retired from the Shasta County District Attorneys office in 2010 after 18 years as the administrative Secretary. Jan has been a chaplain with the Public Safety Chaplaincy of Shasta County for several years and is currently the Administrative Chaplain. Together they have ministered at a local retirement home for several years, until the Covid-19, and look forward to resuming their visits.
We firmly believe that when serving our Lord, one never “arrives”, that we must be constantly studying and learning from the unsearchable riches of Christ.
Anthony & Angela Apodaca
Career & Young Adult Pastors
Anthony and Angela are the Young Adults Pastors (College and Career) here at Word of Life. They have been married for 9 years and have a beautiful daughter. They both have graduated or will soon graduate college, and are maintaining or striving to further their current careers. Their lives have been a testament to the miracle working power of God, and their desire is to be a blessing and example for other young adults while growing together in their lives in God as mature, responsible, and productive people of faith.
